Navigating the HR Maze: A Journey Centered on People

Over the past decade, I’ve worked across the HR landscape. From high-volume hiring to strategic talent partnerships, but through it all, one thing has stayed constant: it’s always been about people.

In every professional I meet, I see more than a resume; I see stories, aspirations, and potentials waiting to be unlocked. My journey across various HR roles has taught me that while systems and strategies are crucial, the human connection drives true success.

I started in marketing, leading campaigns that generated over 10,000 leads each month. That focus on performance carried into my move into recruitment, where I scaled a team from 8 to 35 recruiters and oversaw the hiring of more than 200 blue-collar professionals every month. It was fast-paced, hands-on, and gave me a solid foundation in building processes that balance speed and quality.

In 2020, I transitioned into the tech industry and relocated to Berlin, where I partnered even more closely with fast-scaling teams and took on increasingly strategic roles. One of the most defining moments during this time was placing over 100 white-collar professionals in under a year — spanning tech, GTM, executive, and academic roles — which deepened my expertise in high-skill, high-impact hiring. 

Today, I’m a Senior Talent Partner at JOIN, one of Europe’s fastest-growing SaaS companies, where we’re transforming how teams hire through the leading multi-posting job ad solution. I helped build our tech hub in Barcelona from the ground up and now own the hiring strategy for both tech and go-to-market roles across the business. My work spans far beyond recruitment: I partner with leadership on workforce planning, role prioritisation, and long-term team design. I build scalable, data-informed processes that optimise hiring decisions, strengthen our employer brand through consistent and authentic candidate touchpoints, and ensure a standout experience — not only during hiring, but also across onboarding, engagement, and retention.

Being an expat myself, I know how personal the job search can be — especially across borders. That perspective has made empathy one of the most important tools I bring to the table.

At the end of the day, I believe hiring isn’t just about filling roles. It’s about building environments where people can thrive, and where great work happens as a result.
